Pencil Gun: Help Identifying or determining a value Oct. 1st, 2008 @ 10:27 pm
doobie
I was at a local gun shop picking up an AR receiver and since I had never been in the shop I was browsing and found this 'neat' little 'gun'. It is a .32/.38 cal (blanks) pencil gun. It has no manufacturer name or date of manufacture (beyond the Patent 17183 and 1775178; I couldn't find the first patent, but the second was issued 9/9/1930).

My google foo is failing today and I can't seem to find this anywhere online, so I am wondering if anyone has seen one like it and knows the manufacturer and how much it might be worth.

TIA!

Oh, and I made a community to discuss AR15/Blackrifle specific things. Moderator, please don't hate me for talking about another community here. Having people join wont take them away from you.
I'm just a HUGE fan of Blackrifles and love to discuss/debate/recommend/and share ideas with others. The community is blackrifle Feel free to joing if you love the rifles as much as I do. :)

My Boom Stick behind the cut. I built it myself, from scratch. Every piece assembled by my hands. I'm building an exact copy for a co-worker, if you want one, it's just over $1200. But hey, it's full custom ;)

AR15 A4, in 223/NATO 5.56. 16" carbine barrel, free floating front end, flip down sights, rail riser with red dot sight, flat top slick sided upper, collapsable stock. And in two weeks the upper is being replaced with a side charging upper. Easier to stay on target while doing an Oh Shit reload.

Cheap .223 Ammo Sep. 4th, 2006 @ 02:21 am

Does anyone have a secret as to where to get cheap "day at the range" .223 ammo? So far aimsurplus.com seems to be the best price for anything that doesnt say Wolf on it. The way I check is price per round. $.20 per round is very average. The lower you can get under $.20 the better, or cheaper at least. I am looking to buy 500-1000 rounds. Found a decent deal at JGSales as well, but the shipping thrw it right back up to $.22 a round. Any other suggestions?
